Improved Sleep, No Leg Pain

My name is Alma and my first chiropractic experience began about three years ago, when constant lower back pain and leg pain forced me to go see a chiropractor. A co-worker referred me to My Family Chiropractor, so I figured I would give it a try since I was pretty much at the point of desperation to get better. I was working 2 jobs at the time and was doing a lot of lifting and carrying at both jobs. All I knew is that at the age of 25 years old, I should not be feeling like I was 75. I did not know the first thing about chiropractic care or about the real definition of “true health”. I had never been to a chiropractor before, and sort of thought of chiropractors as “emergency-only” doctors. Honestly, if it had not been for the constant pain I was experiencing in my lower back and my inability to sleep at night, I probably would have never even called to make an appointment.

Once I went through the initial orientation, I was completely amazed at how much sense chiropractic care, instead of “pill-popping” made as a way to truly allow the body to heal itself the way God created it to do so. I received just a few adjustments, and was definitely a believer. Unfortunately, at that time, I was not in a position financially to invest what I needed to go through the initial treatment. I was discouraged to find that my insurance company would not cover any portion of the adjustments, so due to my financial situation, I stopped going after just a few adjustments. For the next three years I just continued to “live with the pain” even though it just gradually got worse and worse.

A seed however, was already planted in my head. I know now the truth about Chiropractic care and believed 100% that it would benefit me. I had such a great experience at My Family Chiropractor that I knew someday I would be back again. I admired My Family Chiropractor and their staff for their genuine care, even for the short time that I was there. The experience really stuck with me, because I saw that Dr. Dan was someone who truly cared about his patients. I had not experienced that kind of care with previous doctors. Now, three years from the first time I stepped into My Family Chiropractor, I have just finished about 3 ½ months of treatment, and have improved 100%. The pain in my lower back and leg is gone, I feel more energetic, I sleep better, and I just “FEEL GOOD!” I have made a commitment to myself that my health will continue to be a priority, an d I will continue my chiropractic care to remain “subluxation-free” forever! I feel so blessed that I was referred to such a great Chiropractor who had made a huge difference in my life. Thanks My Family Chiropractor for everything you do!

Ear Infection

Dear My Family Chiropractor,

I am writing to extend my gratitude regarding the latest adjustment on my 2 month old son, Kayo. Prior to this adjustment, my poor baby suffered many agonizing hours of pain with his first ear infection. I was at the end of my rope and called my husband to see what else I could do to help our tiny baby. He instructed me to go straight to you office and get the baby adjusted. The amazing thing I would like to share is the miracle that took place following the adjustment. My son stopped crying in an instant as the fluid began to ooze out of his ear. I sat in amazement. I then stressed to Dr. Dan again, that he reminded me of a medicine man from back home. I am ever so grateful my child was able to benefit from your professional chiropractic techniques. My son began his healing that moment. How exciting it truly is to see such a miracle! Thanks again for providing care to our entire family!

Increased Energy & Happy

Hi, my name is Julie. I first came to see Dr. Dan about 8 months ago. I had just finished moving and injured myself in the process. At the initial evaluation Dr. Dan showed me my x-ray and explained subluxation. I didn’t even need the explanation, the x-ray showed me everything- my spine curved back and forth, and my left shoulder was 3 inches below the right.

I had my first adjustment and it relieved the most recent acute pain that I was experiencing. What I wasn’t expecting was the continued improvement that I experienced over the next 3 months of treatment. Over the last 10 years or so I hadn’t taken very good care of myself. My determination kept me gong as my health deteriorated. I accumulated subluxations, my energy was increasingly restricted but I kept going. Waking up every morning in pain and discomfort, tired all the time, depressed, stressed and hopeless. My joy and enthusiasm were gone. I tried many things, lifestyle changes, new jobs, medical treatment and rest. These things helped temporarily but soon afterward I was back in the same depressed, tired place.

In only a few months time I am a changed person. With my energy back, not only do I wake up happy and energetic everyday, I handle stress so much better! I haven’t been sick in 8 months; I used to catch everything that came along.
